mstdn.maud.io (referred to as "our server" or "the service") is Mastodon server operated and provided by the group "秘密結社あかねぶるー" (referred to as "administrator" or "admin").
You MUST read our Privacy policy .
This is mastodon's basic terms/privacy policy, but it is very important.
¶ About server
- The service is provided free of charge, and without ANY warranty.
- The administrator may make a maintenance with a temporary service outages without notice.
- Administrators can revise these terms at any time as needed, but users must be notified.

¶ Creating an account
You MUST read these terms first
By completing your registration with our server, you are deemed to have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
You MUST use a valid email address
Creating an account using a temporary email address, such as a "disposable" email address, is not allowed.
Some domains have already been blacklisted and can no longer be used to create new accounts.
Registering an account needs to be approved by administrator.
This is a manual process and may take some time.
We generally aim to complete the review within 24 hours (or 48 hours at the latest), but if the result is not clear after a few days, please let us know.
If you do not receive an e-mail within 24 hours of registration, please contact us using the contact information below.
- If Cloudflare Turnstile identifies you as a "bot" and you cannot apply for an account, please let us know.
- You MUST fill "Did you read our terms?" form. if not, you'll be rejected because we cannot distinguish human and spam/bot.

¶ Deleting an account
In order to predict and control the impact of account deletion on our servers and other fediverse servers, we have disabled the ability for users to directly delete their accounts.
However, any user on this server may request that an administrator delete their account.
Unless there are special circumstances, the administrator will accept the request immediately and try to act on it within 24 hours or so.
If necessary, download or export your data - in principle it is impossible to access this data after it has been deleted!
¶ Prohibited actions
- DO NOT create account for Advertising or Promotion
- DO NOT toot about illegal behavior in Japanese law
- DO NOT Toot includes spamming/annoying link
- We won't allow ads about dating/escorting services and furniture
- DO NOT harm servers and users
- ex: Send massive follows/favs/boosts/replies
- DO NOT make discriminatory remarks which may hurt someone
- DO NOT create account with invalid e-mail address we can't reach you
If you violates this rules, you will get banned from our server.
These terms are guidelines only, and the final decision rests with the administrator.
Because many of these actions are irreversible due to server processing, they are generally not reversible.

- DO NOT follow/favs/mentions to other accounts actively.
- MUST respect #nobot tag if you are going to follow other.
- MUST comply other rules in this page.
¶ Others
- Use "NSFW (Not Safe for Work)" flags if you post sensitive media.
- This server does not implement full-text search using Elasticsearch.
- Although it is supported, as you know, Mastodon is not a video sharing site, so it is not suitable for posting very large videos in terms of distribution channels and storage capacity.
